In the past, you've mentioned a philosophy of not designing something just to check boxes. Ie, not making an Energy-Matters legendary Homunculus just because you haven't yet. Because of that, when Snow Wastes were shown in MH3 I thought there'd be a snow archetype, but there wasn't. Were Snow Wastes an exception to the box-checking philosophy?

Un rules question: If the 2/2 homunculus token from handy dandy clone machine somehow becomes a copy of slaying mantis as it enters, how do I throw my hand from three feet away? Can I punch a creature to fight it?

There’s no way to throw your hand three feet, so it can’t do the enter the battlefield effect.

So, Beebles. Beebles, as I remember, are magically created life forms, basically homunculi. Fblthp is one of the most popular characters (citation needed) and is a homunculus. Why does Wizards of the Coast have an issue with two eyed homunculi in large family groups, but not one-eyed solitary homunculi? Is Wizards going to start banning squirrels next just because they come in large numbers and... I just realized that's a terrible example.

Mark, I'm confused. Previously you said that the main protagonists (and the antagonist) of the war of the spark story were at mythic rare, and yet the Fblthp card that was spoiled recently is only a rare. Has some kind of mistake been made?

I meant the main non-Homunculus protagonists.

Could a homunculus be a Planeswalker, and more importantly, could Fblthp be a Planeswalker?

Artificially beings can’t naturally hold s spark, but, as Karn shows,there are ways around that restriction.

previously homunculus had all been blue but now we have a white one with jubilant mascot. are homunculi azorious going forward or could they end up being jeskai/esper? hope you're having a very happy birthday mr.

Battlebond is pushing Homunculi more so than most sets. They are still base blue.
