I don’t know. I can probably get more info as we get closer.

I have a topic I’ve never done before, one that will give an interest look behind the scene.

In this year SDCC are we getting a similar preview of things to come as the one we got last year?

No. It’s the weekend of Bloomburrow prerelease, so my talk is Bloomburrow focused, but I will be talking about things you don’t know about.

"Absolute faith. The audience is *so* excited for Bloomburrow we didn’t feel a need to focus on it." I must admit that this was not my experience. I was extremely excited to tune into the preview panel to get a sense of the cards I'm next going to open, draft, and play with. The panel's virtual lack of Bloomburrow content dampened my enthusiasm and made it feel like the extremely fast sprint between magic sets is even faster than it currently is. We were getting AC spoilers a week ago.

The preview panel at Chicago Magic Con (which I was on) had the same effect. Yeah, we showed cards from Outlaws of Thunder Junction, the next set, but everyone wanted to talk about Bloomburrow. The unknown thing just pulls attention.

Hey Maro, met you at magiccon chicago, and you signed my prophetic bolt, just wanted to say thanks again.In an effort to actually have a question, what are some kinda goofy cards you designed that people might not realize are yours or that you don't get to talk about a lot.

I’m really happy to sign any Magic card. I’m not sure what cards I design that people don’t know. I produce a lot of content.

Happy belated birthday, Mark! A very special Magic memory of mine was getting to go to MagicCon Chicago through the New Perspectives program. It was a really meaningful opportunity for me and everyone was so kind.

Hello! Saturday, 18 May is my birthday and I'm requesting a(n early) spot of birthday trivia about any Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering, please. It could be about a card from CLB or AFR, or something on the D&D side like the Strixhaven sourcebook. Many thanks!

This is the first Dungeons & Dragons themed Magic card we made. It was designed for Unstable, but first appeared in a special box at Hascon. When I designed the card, it rolled three six-sided dice, but the D&D team asked if we could change it to a twenty-sided die as that was more iconic for D&D.Happy Birthday!

Do the MagicCon Unknown events count as un-sets or something adjacent?

Playtest cards are a different animal from Un-cards, but they are adjacent to one another.
