I was just talking with a friend about how card draw, despite being "Blue's thing", all colors need it because having cards in hand is a resource that all decks need, and thus Blue card draw is the only unconditional one, but every color has been getting some form of conditional card draw that ties it to its color philosophies.This begs the question, why does Green have such a monopoly on ramp? Can't the same thing be done for that? The closest thing is White's catch up mechanics

All colors get the ability to fetch their own basic land type. Red has some ramp, but more one-shot than repeatable. And white does some catch-up ramp. In addition, we make a bunch of colorless cards that can help.

Wizards has introduced almost 30 black angels, even though they're usually described as manifestations of white mana. I don't have a problem with this except yall have only made 5 white demons, 3 of which are from New Capenna! Any thoughts on why, and can I get a maybe on more white angels in the future?

I think white is secondary in extra combat steps, but we do the effect so infrequently that’s it’s tough for secondary to get many cards.

Black green squirrels work for Bloomburrow but I feel like squirrels could also lean white green for the community aspects.

We have made one white Squirrel, but I’m not sure how communal Squirrels are.

Red and white usually have slightly more “combat tricks”. Green also always has a Giant Growth like effect that’s good in combat.

Since white likes to make restrictions such as "cast only one spell per turn," is there any design space in red for the ability to ignore such restrictions?

My friend and I can't figure out why you think the Al-Ghuls are Black/Green instead of Black/White. Can you elaborate?

They are very much about controlling the natural order of the world. I will say their third color is white.

How much does in-universe coloring affect design of UB cards? For example, someone like Green Lantern is likely red or white due to their determination and willpower. However, their in-universe theme is very green, for obvious reasons. How do you reconcile these differences?

Green Lantern is a bad example. The character *is* green/white. (Willpower is green, not red, plus the ring chooses you.) Spider-man is a better example. He’s not blue/red. Characters in Universes Beyond don’t have to match the color of their outfit.
