I know it’s not how you meant it but Sword of Dungeons & Dragons also used a d20

That’s because it was referencing Dungeons & Dragons.

Sword of Dungeons & Dragons

Unruly question, Sword of Dungeons & Dragons makes a gold Dragon token with its color identity being gold. Would it be colorless for cards that care about color identity (like convoke)?

In an Un-game, which you have to be playing to have the card in your deck, it’s gold.

Black Border Reprinting Potential

New 09 Jul 2021 Asked by 2guard 47 Comments

now that "rolling a d20" is a black-bordered part of the game, is there a chance that Sword of Dungeons & Dragons could be reprinted black border~?

The card still has one non-black border element. It makes a gold Dragon token, but that’s not a color in black border.

Sword of Dungeons & Dragons Destiny

New 05 Sep 2020 Asked by darkmagicpi 47 Comments

Is there any chance for Sword of Dungeons & Dragons to show up in/near Forgotten Realms? (Or is being silver bordered too much to even get a promo?)

A card can’t be both black border and silver border.

Sword Cycle Reference

New 28 Mar 2018 Asked by itsnotsafetogoalone 58 Comments

You told me two years ago you recognized that the Swords equipments weren't complete and you (Wizards) weren't obligated to finishing them. You've made the enemy colors and haven't yet touched the allied colored Swords. After making Sword of Dungeons & Dragons, would you reconsider making them? or was that simply a jab at the Sword quinate?

That was just us making a reference to Dungeons and Dragons. It wasn’t meant as part of the cycle.

Interpreting '&' Symbol

Staff of the letter Magus: is & (from sword of dungeons & dragons) expanded to the word 'and', and the D counted for three Ds in that spell?

No.

Sword of D&D Question

“You chose an example that we’ve purposefully also chose to back away from.” Okay, a better example: The d20 roll for Sword of Dungeons & Dragons.

I’m confused. That doesn’t make us add words to many other cards and make messier templates. It’s impact is all on one card.

Why did the Sword of Dungeons & Dragons give protection from Rogues and from Clerics?

Because we were trying to match the protection of the other swords and wanted things relevant to both Magic and D&D.

Is there any possibility that the other Hascon cards will be in other releases? (ie: Can I get a maybe on Grimlock in FTV Transform, please?)

There is no current plan for the other cards to appear in a booster product.
