hey mark, i know its probably not a priority but i figured id bring up that your FAQ page is several years out of date! at least eleven of the worlds on the "short list" there have been done by this point! teehee

Does anyone know how to change it? Tumblr’s interface isn’t helping me figure out how to do it.

MARO! Has it ever occurred to you that people will do projects like "Make a list of all the un-cards that work within the regular rules" and you could just like... ask for a reddit post which you could then review and post, saving you time? Same with an FAQ update I imagine? Maybe there's legal weirdnesses with that, but you likely have a small army of volunteers at your service if only you would ask for things.

hi mark! i have an un-rules question for a deck i'm brewing: the faq for The Big Idea says the extra dice it rolls are seen as separate from the original, but what about the results? say i use it to get +1d6 to a roll and i roll a 4 and a 6, for cards like Mr House, would that count as two results, or one result of 10? thanks!

One result. It’s adapting the roll, not increasing the number of rolls.

I’d like to throw out another reminder to update the FAQ, not just because the plane short list is mostly complete, but also the address for Wizards is no longer correct and the links to articles you reference are all broken now. Thanks for all you do MaRo!

Can someone remind me how to update it?

I love planechase and Doctor Who, and thus plan to make a First Doctor and Susan deck as such. Question: does Vedalken Squirrel-Whacker interact with the planar die at all? It doesn't specify numbers (I know cards that say "ignore the lowest" and such ignore planar die rolls), but I can only assume it won't allow you to "store" a planeswalk symbol or a chaos symbol as its power or toughness. (though, in an acorn game, maybe it could?)

From the Unfinity FAQ: If an ability triggers “whenever you roll a die,” it will trigger whenever you roll any die, including the planar die. This is a change from previous Un- rules. Some abilities use the result to determine part of the effect. If you get a non-numerical result (currently just the planar die, but the future is long), that part of the effect won’t do anything.What this means is rolling a planar die for Vedalken Squirrel-Whacker won’t do anything as it has no numbers.

Hey Mark, I noticed your FAQ mentions that there would never be mechanically functional errata to cards; what's the explanation for Training Grounds then? The original rules text, as well as the ruling info, both state that you can choose to discount a creature's activated ability by just 1 or even 0 if you so choose, but with the Aftermath reprint, you no longer have a choice and you're forced to take the full discount of 2. Sounds like a mechanically functional change to me.

We do occasionally make small functional errata changes on cards, but it isn’t something we do a lot.

At some point, I’ll update it. It’s just something I have to do on my computer, and 99% of me interacting with my blog is on my phone.

Also, congrats on knocking so many entries off of the short list in the blogatog FAQ, you folks really crunched it out.
