Ashes to Ashes

Judging Ashes to Ashes

is ashes to ashes a bend break or neither?

Neither. Black can exile creatures and do damage to you. Nowadays it would probably be written as life loss, but it’s all in black’s slice of the pie.

Hi Mark! I hope you are having a great weekend. I don't know if you can pass this message to the team that handles reprints to put in the to-reprint list the ten common cards that still had a old frame on the Pauper Cube: Deftblade Elite, Phantom Nomad, Capsize, Miscalculation, Ashes to Ashes, Pestilence, Tortured Existence, Silver Drake, Temporal Spring and Cavern Harpy. Thanks!

I’ll pass the list along.

Doubts on Split Card

New 02 Mar 2020 Asked by serialvelocity 19 Comments

"Q: I know The Dark already did both Ashes to Ashes & Dust to Dust, but would silver border be able to do aftermath cards titled Ashes//Ashes or Dust//Dust with different effects on each half? A: Each half would have to do the same thing as it has the same name." but very cryptic command has multiple versions with the same name and different effects. why could a split card not take advantage of this?

I don’t think we’d have a card have different versions on the same card.

Long ago there was a card named Ashes to Ashes. Would such a thing be possible as an Aftermath card?

Sadly, no.
