Expectations for Goblin *mancers

Now that we have a Goblin Anarchomancer to go with Goblin Electromancer, can we expect Boros and Rakdos to get their own Goblin *mancers at some point?

Not everything is a cycle. : )

Creature-Light Set Feasibility

New 04 Jan 2014 Asked by abundantfrog 9 Comments

could a creature-light set be done if the creatures were crutial to use alongside the spells, perhaps with things like guttersnipe, goblin electromancer typed affects finding their ways into any color? if the sets around were heavier on creatures than usual, would it be able to work?

The question isn’t “Could I make a creature-light set?” but “Should I make a creature-light set?” I could but I shouldn’t. Note that this doesn’t mean we won’t ever make it lower than normal but lower than normal and creature-light are not the same thing.

Complex Commons

In response to the person asking about NWO, here are some commons that are not only in competitive decks right now, but also very complex in most situations and lead to a lot of decisions: Doomed Traveler, Tragic Slip, Delver of Secrets, Faithless Looting, Duress, Fog, Mulch, Young Wolf, Arbor Elf, Smite, Zhur-Taa Druid, Negate, Farseek, Goblin Electromancer, Avacyn's Pilgrim, Pilfered Plans, Cloudfin Raptor, Grisly Salvage, Thought Scour, Centaur Healer, Elvish Visionary, Pillar of Flame, etc.

Izzet's Power Desire

New 30 Aug 2012 Asked by feversk-deactivated20121118 3 Comments

Goblin Electromancer's flavor text says, "When asked how much power is required, Izzet mages always answer "more"." Isn't wanting more power Black? :)

Goblin Electromancer is talking about electricity. Black is less interested in that kind of power.
