Alesha, Who Smiles at Death

MonoWhite Reanimation Ability

We could see, color-pie wise, a monoWhite creature with the same reanimation ability of "Alesha, Who Smiles at Death"? Another question, is "return target permanent card from your graveyard to the battlefield" still on White? We had Emeria's Shepherd (BFZ) and Profound Journey (DTK) not so long ago.

Yes to the first question. It’s not monowhite to the second question.

Alesha Story Popularity

I was wondering if I could get any trivia on Alesha, Who Smiles at Death for my birthday. She's my favorite commander card, and being the first transgender character represented, I strongly identify with her.

Her story was, at the time, the most read “Uncharted Realms” story. It’s now number two behind the Narset story (which had a preview card - which Alesha’s story did not). Happy Birthday!

Your stance on Hybrid cards in Commander is clear. What is your opinion on cards with off-color activated abilities? For example, should a mono-red deck be able to contain Alesha, Who Smiles at Death?

Yes, but it should only be able to produce red mana so it can’t activate the card.
