Rally the Ancestors

White's Reanimation Limits

Mark, you said that white mostly brings back low costed creatures and, sometimes, angels from graveyard. So the chances for us to have new versions of Ressurrection, Miraculous Recovery, Marshal's Anthem, etc. are low? I think that if necromancers and demons can raise their greatest threats from the grave, angels and gods should be able to bring their greatest champions back too xD effects like Faith's Reward and Rally the Ancestors don't seem like a bend nor a break for me...

Whenever possible, we like to keep effects that we use at a lower frequency off of one another. Black has the wide sweeping reanimation so white has to focus.

New White Spells

Mark, what about the chances of having new white spells that reanimate multiple creatures/planeswalkers (maybe all creature cards on your graveyard? o.o), like Rally the Ancestors, but indefinitely?

White only reanimates smaller creatures (and an Angel on rare occasion).

Was it intentional that rally the ancestors works well with the rally mechanic ?

Um, sure.

I don't understand rally the ancestors, why don't they have haste? do they come just to block???

They could have enter the battlefield effect or sacrifice effects or death triggers. There are sorts of things you can do with it.

I don't understand rally the ancestors why don't they gain haste?

Because the point of the card isn’t to attack with creatures from the graveyard. That spell would be black or maybe red.
