Nimble Mongoose Reprint

If Shroud is less intuitive than Hexproof, why was Nimble Mongoose reprinted instead of making a new Hexproof variant? Thanks for answering our questions sir.

Because done players are very emotionally attached to Nimble Mongoose.

Is Nimble Mongoose a card that probably won't see play in Standard because of Shroud and Threshold?

Wolf vs Bear Tokens

New 16 Apr 2012 Asked by krvys 2 Comments

I think that the reason people are asking about the whole Wolf/Bear token thing isn't so much to do with Innistrad. I understand that that is your reason for using wolves here. More so,I think people have noticed a lack of bear tokens in magic for several years. Mind you, I'm indifferent either way,and would be willing to see even a new 2/2 token take that spot if you chose. Like Mongoose tokens. Or better yet: 2/2 Squirrels!

The reason there are less 2/2 bear tokens in general is bears tend not to make flavor sense in a lot of environments. I understand the emotional tie to Grizzly Bears but just because Alpha did something that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily the right default.
