Promotional Card Confusion

New 08 Sep 2019 Asked by sylvhem 39 Comments

I don't want to be disrespectful, but are you sure you are not confusing Drawn Together with Circle of Protection: Art? Because I've never heard of such promotional card before.

Oops. You’re correct. I did confuse the two.

Drawn Together Reprint

Hello Mark! Do you think we could one day have a reprint of Drawn Together with art from a different artist? That would be fun.

There was a promo version with different art.

Silver Border Clones

Unrules: how do clone and other similar effects interact with cards that care about the artist, like Framed! or drawn together?

In silver border, clones copy all attributes of the cloned card.

Un-Rules Illustration Logic

New 10 May 2016 Asked by calliestumbler 29 Comments

Un-Rules Question: When I have a drawn together naming Jesper Myrfors, and a face down creature, does the creature get +2/+2, because Myrfors designed the magic back? What if I name Raymond Swanland and use a morph or manifest overlay?

The card has to be illustrated so no on card backs (not illustrated), no on overlays (not actually the creature) yes on tokens, assuming it’s illustrated.

Drawn Together Rule

Can I choose myself as an artist for Drawn Together? For example to give my self drawn tokens +2/+2?

I’ll allow it, but you have to actually draw the tokens.

Un-Set Artist Rules

New 27 Sep 2012 Asked by unlimiteur 2 Comments

Un-Set Question: If I play "Drawn Together", can I choose myself as artist? And if I can, do tokens gain the bonus if I use token I made myself? Also, do creatures gain the bonus if I altered them?

You may only choose an artist that has illustrated an official Magic card. Sorry. (Note that house rules can override that if everyone agrees.)
