Deep-Sea Terror

Graveyard Contexts

Flavor-wise, isn't it a bit odd your graveyard represents different things depending on the context - some of which are contradictory? The most literal use is a place for dead creatures. But two sorceries / instants in it represent experience (Spell Mastery), four different types represent a type of insanity (Delirium), some cards represent strong memories (Flashback), or is just power balancing tool (Deep-Sea Terror). What gives?

The game is better if we can skin different zones in different ways depending on the world/story being presented.

Reusing Ability Words

The cards Zendikar's Roil (which basically has Landfall) and Deep-Sea Terror (which basically has Threshold) are awesome nods to their home planes, but it's a little aesthetically weird that they lack the ability word that seems to have inspired them. Does R&D have a policy about re-using abilities without formally using them as a returning set mechanic?

We are allowed to use a card that would have an ability word in a block that uses the ability word in another block without it.
