Bump in the Night

Card Name Tropes

Mark, I'm a big horror fan, but I'm not sure about how blatant and trope-y some of these card names are. I mean, seriously, "Black Cat"? "Bump in the Night"? "Creepy Doll"? "Evil Twin"? I don't think this "Innistrad" plane is going to be a hit... ;)

Will cards such as Bump in the Night be erratad to deal damage, or will previous life loss as an effect cards remain the same?

Previous cards will stay as is.

So how does Garfield, PHD work with flashback spells? Can I cast something as Dark Ritual and then flash it back as Bump in the Night?

You can.

Black vs White Mechanics

New 12 Aug 2013 Asked by carloszero 16 Comments

Why doesn't Black have a lot of cheap "lifeloss" cards like Bump in the Night, while White has a lot of cheap "lifegain" cards like Soul's Attendant?

Because life loss is stronger than life gain. Don’t tell anyone I told you. : )
