Holy Day

Color-Coded Abilities

Didn't white have Holy Day, a 1-mana fog identical to Fog, except in White? Is that no longer in White's colour pie? (Worth noting that Black also had an identical fog in the same set, Legends, I think)

Fog is currently in green’s slice of the pie. We did experiment with it being white for a little while. Despite Darkness, it was never part of black’s slice of the color pie.

Birthday Trivia Request

It's finally my birthday! Can I request triva on Stone-Cold Basilisk, Pacifism, or Fog?

Fog is one of only a handful of spells to have its rules text and converted mana cost appear on two other color of cards. For Fog, that’s Darkness (black) and Holy Day (white).Happy Birthday!

I'd actually recommend fog/holy day/darkness against infect.

A fine suggestion.

Fog Effects in Colors

New 16 Jan 2015 Asked by a-stranger-place-blog-blog 20 Comments

Fighting Chance in red and Holy Day in white are 1 CMC true answers to Overrun as well. Related question: is Holy Day still something white can even do, or are Fog type effects solidly green?

Fog effects are in Green. We tried White having them for a little while but it just didn’t need them and Green very much did.

Color Shift of Fogs

New 15 May 2012 Asked by leplague 4 Comments

I was really hoping for a reprint of Holy Day in AVR. Will we ever see "fogs" for other colors again, or are they a strictly green thing now?

No Holy Day in Avacyn Restored as fog effects are back in green. No plan to shift (again) that piece of the color pie.
