Blurry Beeble Rules

Hey Mark, I'm not sure if your ruling on Blurry Beeble is correct. The 2HG rules actually have a section on figuring out situations with abilities that refer to defending players. Notably, rule 810.7b states: "cases in which the “defending player” is referred to actually refer to both defending players. If the reference involves a positive comparison, it gets only one answer. This answer is “yes” if either defending player in the comparison would return a “yes” answer if compared individually."

I will double check with Eli when I’m back in the office. If there is a black border precedent, I usually follow it.

Blurry Beeble Gameplay

Un-rules question: how does Blurry Beeble work in 2HG if one of my opponents wears glasses and the other does not?

It’s unblockable by creatures controlled by players who weren’t wearing glasses when it was cast. In Two-Headed Giant, that could mean one player’s creatures can’t block it.

Un-design Clothing Mechanic

So removal of clothing is un-design space that is unlikely to be explored - is there any potential for cards that encourage wearing of certain articles, or ask players to put more clothes on?

Blurry Beeble makes people wear glasses.

Unstable Draft in France

New 09 Dec 2017 Asked by yggdrasild49 29 Comments

MaRoooooo !!!! I had a total blast at the Unstable draft. As a rather medium player, I managed to crank up the 1st place on my table with a W/U Widget deck, supported by Humming-Octopusses that assembled lots of Contraptions for me! I don't even know where to start among all the fun moments I had... More or Less, Hot Fix, Blurry Beeble, Sacrificial Play... I even got my hands on the Widget Secret Base to smooth everything out! (And I usually not like W/U...) Thanks, merci !! From France 🇫🇷

Monocle Exception

New 25 Nov 2017 Asked by christhein456-blog 56 Comments

"Does a monocle count? Closer, but still no." I wear a monocle all day to correct an issue with my one eye and I can't wear glasses because i'm missing my other ear! can an exception be made?

If you are unable to wear normal glasses, you may count a monocle as glasses for Blurry Beeble.

Mark, if I feel very strongly that Blurry Beeble should count monocles as glasses and shouldn't count sunglasses who at Wizards should I direct my concerns to?

Me.

Glasses Specifications

New 23 Nov 2017 Asked by dezeker 17 Comments

quick question about Blurry Beeble - the FAQ says they need to be actual glasses with lenses; just wanted to confirm whether or not that this disqualifies prop/fashion glasses without lenses as well as shutter glasses since they dont have any either. thanks for making this set a reality!!

They have to be glasses with lenses. The lenses don’t have to be prescription.
