Did you consider having the "food" tokens not be artifacts? Why is an apple able to be enchanted by an "animate artifact" spell?

In game terminology, tangible items are artifacts which includes food. I’ll invoke the Hot Soup precedent. : )And food coming to life seem like a cool magical spell.
