Green's Lack of Lifelink

Green prefers to do things using its creatures. Green gets life gain. So why doesn't Green get lifelink? I mean, it could be flavored as predation, kind of like Time to Feed.

We limit most our creature keywords to two colors and we felt it belonged more in White and Black.

Green Creature Removal

So Green is supposed to specifically NOT have creature removal. What about cards like Time to Feed and Savage Punch?

Green can have creature removal. It just has to involve using its creatures. Green deals with creatures by having bigger creatures.

No Theros Basilisk

I'm aware that Khans are kind of the thing now but just for fun I checked through whole Theros block and there is not a single basilisk (excluding time to feed art) in the there. What gives?

Gorgons ate up the basilisk space.

Fight Mechanic Status

Have you guys already gotten rid of Fight so soon after it was introduced? A couple of cards in BNG (Fall of the Hammer, Culling Mark) seem like they want to be Fight cards but are way better or worse (respectively) than other recent Fight cards (Pit Fight, Time to Feed). Or is this just a really rapid swing in the Power Pendulum?

Fight hasn’t gone anywhere. We still use it.
