Mizzium Tank Rules Flexibility

Mizzium Tank is a Vehicle that doesn't need to be crewed. Is it a vehicle break or a big bend?

There’s a big difference between “can be crewed, but doesn’t always need to be” and “can’t be crewed”.

Colored Artifacts Logic

What was the thought process behind some of the nonlegendary colored artifacts in WAR (Mizzium Tank comes to mind)? While I understand how legendary artifacts are special and specific enough to be tied to their owner's colors, having generic colored artifacts feels to me like it devalues some of the flavor of earlier sets which played with that theme, and I would like to know the reasoning behind putting colored artifacts in this set.

In order to make strong artifacts and not mess up constructed Magic, we’re pushing more into colored artifacts. It’s a necessity for gameplay.

Colored Artifacts Concern

Greetings Mark! We're seeing the awesome new vehicles that utilize colored mana in #MTGWAR with Parhelion II and Mizzium Tank so far. I was wondering, what are your thoughts on how well card framing currently represents the color of colored artifacts? We only have two examples so far but I feel like the White framing on Parhelion II is almost indistinguishable from colorless vehicles. The legendary header helps a bit, but for most colored artifacts their mana identity doesn't pop immediately.

It’s something we’re going to look at.
