What are so examples of uses of R&D's Secret Lair?

You can make Island Sanctuary prevent damage to you from your non-flying creatures. Works well with things like Orcish Artillery.Orcish Oriflamme and Orcish Artillery cost 1R.You can make the player pay for your drink with Ashnod’s Coupon.

Alpha Set Trivia

Hi Mark! It was my birthday last Friday and I'd like to get some unknown trivia on my favorite set of all times, the very first: Alpha.

The wording of the Alpha Island Sanctuary kept you from being damaged by any creature that didn’t fly or gave island walk including your own. It comboed well with Orcish Artillery (also misprinted at a cheaper cost in Alpha) because Island Sanctuaryy would prevent the damage to you from it, as it didn’t fly or gave islandwalk.Happy Birthday!

Mirari Card Speculation

Re: Mirari - The remnants of it should still be somewhere in New Phyrexia. And since we've seen white, blue, black, and green, aligned Mirari cards, Return to New Phyrexia should have a red Mirari influenced card... And then it can be gone forever.

EDIT: Oh Tumblr. The actual question was about what kinds of things R&D Secret Lair can do. The card can do all sorts of crazy things. I just said it only affects what the card does and not the rules around it. An example from the top of my head - You can play Alpha Orcish Artillery for 1R and then use Alpha Island Sanctuary to prevent its damage to you as it is nonflier and nonislandwalker.
