Blue's Historical Capabilities

There are a few on your non-Blue list that actually do have have cards. That being said, I think Blue is just fine and most of these cards are older and oddball anyways, just figured I would point some out. Direct Damge is Psionic Blast. Life gain is Relic Bind/Merchant Ship and few other more niche spells. Creature Destruction is Frozen Solid/Dwindle. Land searching is Dreamscape Artist and technically Mana Severance. Damage prevention is Cephalid Illusionist/Energy Field and a few others.

I was talking modern color pie. Magic’s past is filled with things the color shouldn’t have done (or was in color pie at the time).

Energy Field Trivia

Birthday Trivia! When I first got into magic, my first constructed deck was built around Energy Field and Yawgmoth's Agenda. Any trivia on these cards?

When Yawgmoth’s Agenda was first translated into Japanese it was essentially Yawgmoth’s Day Planner. It was fixed before it made it to print, I believe.Happy Birthday!

Infinite Hand Size Debate

New 31 May 2013 Asked by wurst12 46 Comments

Arguments against infinite hand size: 1) Makes Spellbook and Reliquary Tower do nothing 2) Makes Gnat Miser and Jin-Gitaxias need functional errata to work 3) Makes Energy Field the turtle king 4) Makes card draw marginally stronger, and it's already really good 5) Stalls board states as players stockpile answers in hand 6) Players with a fistful of cards play slower with more options in hand to consider 7) Gives me a good reason to stop this list at 7 items rather than rambling on and on.

More defense of the hand size limit.
