Anathemancer

Nonbasic Land Hate

How do you feel about nonbasic land destruction or hate such as Anathemancer?

I like it but at the same general power level as normal land destruction. I don’t think it being nonbasic should be freedom to make powerful land destruction as I think the game is better without it.

Fast Zombies Opinion

I think the term "smart zombie" is a bit off (even though Zombie wizards do exist in mtg like Anathemancer, Death Baron, and Corpse Connoisseur among many others). From my understanding, People are asking for the "fast zombies" that have been showing up in more horror movies as of late rather than the slow shambling ones. I for one would not be against a red/black zombie with haste in the future, that is for sure.

Personally I’m not a fan of fast zombies. They’re existence is more about the needs of video games than a logical extension of the zombie mythos. One of the cool things about a zombie is supposed to be that any average guy could beat a single zombie given a weapon. The problem with zombies isn’t that one is hard to kill but that they keep coming.
