Legacy Legal Cards

City in a bottle, golgothian sylix and Apocalypse Chime are still legal in legacy and vintage, so cards can care about what expansion they are from are just not silver boarder?

The way the cards work in Oracle is they list every single card it affects. It doesn’t look at the expansion symbol. For example, if you have Triskelion from a core set without an Antiquities expansion symbol, it will still die to the Sylix.

I have a soft spot for Tetravus and Triskelion. I also adored Mishra’s Factory back in the day.

Question about the very early days! Which non-core set from before you started working at Wizards is your favorite? Which do you think is the best?

Before I came to work at Wizards, my favorite set by far was Antiquities. First, I’ve always loved artifacts. Second, I loved that it had such a strong theme. Third, there were just a lot of cards I loved in the set, Triskelion and Tetravus especially along with the Urza lands.
