Treacherous Werewolf

Dominarian Werewolves

Traditionally, werewolves from Dominaria were black. Do you think all Dominarian werewolves are black, or could we see them in other colors too?

Traditionally? There’s only one black Werewolf definitely from Dominaria (Treacherous Werewolf). Lesser Werewolf is from Legends, but the set has creatures from multiple planes, although Dominaria was one of them. Greater Werewolf is from Ulgrotha. I bring this up because there just isn’t a lot of precedents for Werewolves on Dominaria, so we have some freedom if we want to make more.

Inconsistencies in Human Creatures

Why are Werebear and Dirty Wererat currently (as in oracle text) Humans, but Greater, Lesser, and Treacherous Werewolf not Humans?

Werebear and Dirty Rats have two states (pre and post-threshold) and one of those states is human.
