Happy Birthday! You mentioned once that the original Mirrodin block had small hints alluding to its future as New Phyrexia, but what examples of it are there? The flavor text of Soulscour comes to mind.

White Land Destruction

The most recent white card that I can find that destroys land is Soulscour. Has land destruction been removed from white?

Land destruction was never really supposed to be a white thing. What made everyone think otherwise is white’s ability to destroy all of a card type allowed it to make Armageddon which was by far the most powerful land destruction for all of the early years of Magic.
