Ranger of Eos

Color Pie and Card Abilities

Have two questions about the color pie! Is ranger of eos still considered in-pie? and could white do something akin to conspicuous snoop for a white thing?

Ranger of Eos is still in white’s pie. Top of the library stuff is tricky in white, but maybe doable with the right parameters.

Are cards like Ranger of eos still is white's color pie? Cards like that seem like a pretty easy to fix Whites card advantage problem, if it They are should Collective company have been White?

Regarding augment cards, how do they interact with cards like Ranger of Eos and recruiter of the guard?

Ranger of Eos works with Augment cards. They are creature cards with a converted mana cost of 0.

Snapcaster Mage's Color

I know that Tiago Chan wanted his invitational card to be blue, but I also know that that hasn't been the end of the story with previous such cards. You didn't let Finkel make his broken Wrath of God variant. You didn't let Olivier Ruel make Ranger of Eos get creatures with 2 converted mana cost. You didn't let Tiago make his ridiculous broken counterspell land. I apologize if this sounds rude, but I think you really should have put your foot down and made Snapcaster Mage not be blue.

I wish in retrospect that I had gone to Tiago and said to him that we were thinking of making his card red. Would he be okay with that?  If he said no, we could have kept it blue, but at least there would have been a chance to put it in the more interesting space.
