Bonding Stories from Magic

Happy Birthday Mark! I'm a little late by my clock but there are plenty of clocks that say I'm on time. You use Magic to make people's birthdays a little more special, so for your birthday I'd like to tell you how Magic has made many of my days special. My father taught me and my older siblings how to play Magic about as soon as we were able to comprehend the cards. It was a great bonding experience for all of us.I taught my 3 younger siblings how to play. Of the 6 of us, 4 of us still play Magic together to this day.I've had 2 relationships were we bonded over a love of gaming where I taught them to play Magic. One of which later became my wife, and we spread Magic to her siblings as well. Now I have an 8 year old daughter who is very curious about Magic, and enjoys the art of every new set as they come out. If she ever decides she wants to give the game a try, I will teach her as well.So I just want to thank you (and everyone you work with!) for a game that has brought me and those around me collectively more joy than any other one outlet, by a landslide! From me and all those around me who have enjoyed your work, Happy Birthday! We can't wait to see what new things cone from this additional year of wisdom and experience!

Thanks for sharing your story.

Prominence of Humans in Designs

A few times when people ask for more beast people I believe you've mentioned that Humans need to feature prominently since people relate to Humans. Has anything changed with Capenna? Even though Human is technically the most represented singular creature type, the animal people (Cats, Rhinos, Birds, Cephalids, Viashino, Raccoon) outnumber them by a landslide. (Also will we ever see Noggle again?)

Humans want to be on most worlds, but don’t need to be the majority.
