Punctuation in Titles

New 14 Sep 2022 Asked by melsanoma 71 Comments

Just saw the spoiled Kill! Maim! Burn!. I would like to request more punctuation! In titles! Please? We mostly have apostrophes for possessive's words and commas, for legendary epithets. There's a whole world of punctuation to choose from—like the em dash (which is different from a "regular" dash) and colons (which is also an important part of the human digestive system). Can I get a maybe‽

Unglued had the first card name with an exclamation point (Denied!, Incoming!, and Mine, Mine, Mine!).Unhinged had the first card name with a question mark (Question Elemental?).I’m proud to say Unfinity has the first card name with both a question mark and an exclamation point. BFM with Ach Hans Run

New 24 Jun 2022 Asked by tomgom12-blog 34 Comments

Hi mark! unglued question here! Can i played BFM with Ach Hans Run? if not, why is possible to use Timmy, Power Gamer if it has the same "put a creature in play" clause?

Sadly, the two halves of BFM are only a singular creature on the battlefield. In every other zone they are just two cards, so they don’t work with “Ach! Hans, run!” or Timmy, Power Gamer. The combo you’re looking for is playing BFM with Incoming!

Utilizing BFM

Un-rules, is it possible to put BFM into the battlefield with an effect that puts two or more creatures into the battlefield?

Yes. For example, Incoming! From Unglued can put a B.F.M. Onto the battlefield.

Cube Playability Strategy

The way to make any card, silver border or otherwise, cube playable, is to make it powerful enough to draft. Blast from the past and Booster tutor are particularly sweet ones. And while there exists a large varieties of cubes, players tend to build powerful ones, so as funny as toy boat is, I would never include it in my cube.

Do people include Incoming! or Richard Garfield PhD? Those are both very powerful.

BFM Play Ruling

New 17 Oct 2015 Asked by turkeysinatrenchcoat-blog 10 Comments

Regarding BFM, the card states you must _play_ both together, is this not sufficiently different from being put into play?

I’ve ruled that if you can get both in play at the same time, you’re good. The ruling goes all the way back to Unglued with Incoming!

Could we have "Incoming!" in black border?

We could do the ability but probably not at that cost.

Black Border Possibility

New 14 Sep 2014 Asked by zemyla 13 Comments

Is there any reason you couldn't print Incoming! in black border?

I could print a functional identical card (although maybe not at that cost) but it couldn’t be the same name. The ability is currently black border.

Probably not at that cost. The rules work.

Incoming! Black Border Potential

could the unglued card "incoming!" be done in black border? we already have cards that are somewhat like it, but they only do the player's hand.

Incoming! maybe could be done in black border but probably at a higher cost.
