Birthday Trivia Request

I guess my question got lost, but my birthday was a few days ago and wanted some trivia on either Disciple of the Vault or Arcanis the Omnipotent. Thanks in advance!

Arcanis is secretly three kithkin in a trench coat. Happy Birthday!

It's my birthday, can I get some trivia on Arcanis the Omnipotent, my first EDH general.

When we designed Arcanis, we wanted it to do something iconically Blue. I said, “How about Ancestral Recall?” We did think about Time Walk for about four seconds until we realized tapping to take an extra turn was obviously broken. Happy Birthday!

Names and Meanings

How come Arcanis the Omnipotent brings you more cards (representing knowledge), and Omniscience lets you cast spells for free (representing power)? Shouldn't they be Arcanis the Omniscient and Omnipotence?

The card was originally calked Omnipotence but that is the ultimate goal of black not blue so the name was changed.

So it is finally my chance to ask for card trivia as a birthday present. Got anything interesting to say about my favorite card, Arcanis the Omnipotent?

Arcanis was created because we were trying to come up with an awesome legendary creature and someone suggested, “What if they tapped to Ancestral Recall? Happy birthday!

Nomenclature Mixup

How come Creative is mixing up Omnipotence and Omniscience? Now we have a card named Omniscience which lets you do everything for little to no effort, and we already Arcanis the Omnipotent who let you draw card, thus increasing your knowledge. Shouldn't they have been Omnipotence and Arcanis the Omniscient instead?

Arcanis should have been the Omniscient not the Omnipotent. Blue seeks knowledge, black seeks power. So blue wants Omniscience and black wants Omnipotence.
