For that previous asker--there WAS an artifact-or-enchantment Smash to Smithereens. Destructive Revelry, and it was red-green.

Colors and Enchantment Removal

New 23 Jul 2015 Asked by justanotherblondekid 23 Comments

On the "red having issues with enchantments topic", I've heard people say that Destructive Revelry was a mistake because, as a red/green spell, it gives red accessible enchantment removal and damage by simply splashing a second color. Thoughts?

Green can destroy enchantments so yes Red absolutely can do it by accessing a second color that is capable of enchantment destruction.

Translation Concerns

Hi Maro, I don't really know if you're the right person, but I have a complaint regarding a translation used in Theros' cards in portuguese. I'm brazilian and here, the word revelry (in Destructive Revelry) was translated as "orgia" (orgy, in English). I know a lot of MtG players are grown-ups, but I wouldn't be confortable to see a kid asking about what's the meaning of "orgy" in the middle of a game. If you you could forward to the right person, I would be really thankful.

Send me an email through the link in my column and I can foreard it to the proper people.
