Seeing as it's also my birthday, and in honor of your crableg crisis, I would like to request some trivia about the card that is not a crab until it becomes a crab anyway: Chromeshell Crab. Happy Birthday, Maro!

One of my favorite cards before I came to Wizards was Juxtapose from Legends. I have made numerous spells with that effect (swapping a creature with an opponent) include the Crab. Happy Birthday, fellow birthday celebrator!

3/3 Trade-Off Logic

Is there a specific design reason that Pongify, Beast Within, Chromeshell Crab, Nasty Terasty, etc. give 3/3's in trade?

3/3’s are interesting in that it can shrink big things or turn little things into larger threats.
