Impact of 4 Mana Reanimation

I don't think most people are pushing for the return of Reanimate, but what was wrong with 4 mana reanimation? I don't remember Breath of Life or Zombify upsetting the apple cart too much in Standard. Even something like Late to Dinner seems fine for Standard.

We had a period where reanimation was mana value of four. It caused problems and limited our design of bigger creatures.

White's Four-Mana Magic

But being the best at big spells include being able to ramp or to cheat them into play, things that white normally isn't good at all, but I get your point. One thing I've noticed is that with 4 mana White starts doing some pretty strong stuff (Smothering Tithe, Angelic Exaltation, Jazal Goldmane, Ressurrection/False Defeat/Breath of Life, Hero of Bladehold, Settle the Wreckage and so on). What's the explanation for that 4-mana-boundary? Is that something particular to White or not?

White isn’t best at big spells.

White's Reanimation Scope

I have a question for the color pie, does White still get cards with re-birth or resurrection cards or abilities like: Breath of Life , Reya, Dawnbringer or has that been mostly regulated to Black's side of the pie?

White can reanimate cheaper creatures usually 2 CMC or less.
