If there were a keyword for "can't be blocked by more than one creature," what would it be? Has a keyword ever been proposed?

R&D calls it “stalking” after Stalking Tiger.

R&D calls it “stalking” after Stalking Tiger from Mirage, the first creature with the ability.

Challenge Ability Expansion

Could the "challenge" ability in green branch into White? (This can't be blocked by more than one creature). It seems like it would make sense for the color that cares about "fair" fights.

R&D calls the ability “stalking” (after Stalking Tiger, the first creature to have the ability) and it wants to go on bigger creatures which is far more a green thing than a white thing. Also, the flavor is about it being hard to find to block not “fairness”.

What's R&D's nickname for "Can't be blocked by more than one creature" and do you see it getting keyworded in the near future?

We call it Stalking after Stalking Tiger. We don’t do it enough to warrant keywording.

How close has the Stalking Tiger ability come to being keyworded?

Not very. We use it once a block or so. Not worth keywording.

The same as the flavor of Stalking Tiger. : ) (aka I don’t know)

Holiday Card Explanation

What's the deal with Stocking Tiger? All the previous holiday cards have fairly obvious Christmas connections: typically Christmas phrases (with a twist) or actions (Snow Mercy); or twists on real cards (Gifts Given). Stockings are obvious...but a tiger? What's that all about?

It’s a word play on the card Stalking Tiger.

Stocking Tiger Stats

Stocking Tiger: How did you come up with 5 for a 3/3? Did it just feel right? Do the numbers have any significance?

It’s a 3/3 because Stalking Tiger is a 3/3. It costs 5 because that is what it costs when a 3/3 artifact creature does what Stocking Tiger does.

Keywording Combat Mechanics

I really like the Two-Headed ("can't be blocked except by two creature or more") and the Stalking Tiger ("can't be blocked by more than one creature") mechanics. Why haven't either of these been keyworded? They make combat more interesting without making it less interactive. BONUS TRACK: Why hasn't the Butcher Orgg ability ever been reprinted?

We don’t use them enough to keyword. By the way, just because we don’t keyword something doesn’t mean we can’t still use it.
