Whenever it comes time for Unglued to get an Oracle update, will Rock Lobster stay without a creature type or will it become a Homarid?

It will get a creature type but not necessarily Homarid.

I acquired Rock Lobster, Paper Tiger, and Scissors Lizard from Unglued. I use them instead of a die to determine who plays first at FNM. It makes everyone smile. Who says Un-cards aren't played at FNM? Thanks Maro!

Un-Rules Question: So Rock Lobster, Scissors Lizard, and Paper Tiger are all Artifact Creatures from Unglued without a species or class. They did not get updated with The Great Creature Type Update. What are their species and or class?

Un-cards are not currently updated in Oracle so they didn’t get touched by the Great Creature Update.

Did the naming (or creation) of Rock Lobster from Unglued have anything to do with the B52 song?

I was naming a cycle of rock/paper/scissors cards and I needed those soda in the title. The expression Rock Lobster comes from the song so yes they are related.

Who designed Rock Lobster, Paper Tiger, and Scissors Lizard? A friend bought me a playset of each and I was thinking of getting them signed. :)

That would be me. Alliances did have the idea of a rock, paper scissors mechanic in design (it never made it to print) but this incarnation was my doing.
