Hello Mark!I am Vorthos player and a big fan of lore. Do you think the following characters could receive a card one day? - Kakkazan and their 3 fellow Kami - The “arabian” wizard depicted in “cryptic command” by Jason Rainville - The Unluckiest planeswalker - Azor (planeswalker) - Leonos II (azorius arbiter) - the Prahv (land) - Ludmilla from the “Sisters of stone death” - Archangel Maladola and the other members of the Orzhov triumvirate - a new version of Tsabo Tavoc (before or after being phyrexianised) - alternate reality characters like Orim, Samite InquisitorCan I have a maybe? :)

Legendary Ravnica Guild Halls?

New 22 Dec 2015 Asked by mrmoustachemm 29 Comments

In retrospect, should the Ravnica guild halls (Prahv, Orzhova, Sunhome, etc) have been Legendary?

At the time for gameplay reasons, we weren’t making any lands legendary (with super rare exceptions). With the change to the legendary rules, we now can. If we had access to legendary lands at the time, yes, they probably would have been legendary.

Paladin of Prahv Query

Why doesn't Paladin of Prahv say "lifelink. Forecast- target creature gains lifelink"?

I believe because at the time, lifelink hadn’t yet been keyworded.

Pronunciation Guidelines

New 23 Jul 2012 Asked by fulgur14 5 Comments

Being from Central Europe, I obviously like the Ravnica block, but what peeves me is that you blatantly change the pronunciation. "Ravnica" in Slavic languages is supposed to be pronounced as "rav-ni-tsa", since "c" is a consonant of its own in Slavic Languages. (Obviously, it means "plains", or "flat land", or possibly "equation".) And "Kraj" should be pronounced as "Kray". Though, I wanted to ask -- is the name "Prahv" derived from the name of my city, Praha?

We tend to have the names pronounced as the majority of players would pronounce it rather than follow the guidelines of the language that influences the name. Being true to the source but being mispronounced by everyone would be bad.
