Green Flyers Opinion

Good morning MaRo,What is your opinion on recently printed large creatures in Green with flying? For example, Destructor Dragon, Foe-Razer Regent, Herdchaser Dragon, Old Gnawbone, Green Dragon, and Kura, the Boundless Sky.

Green should get flyers infrequently. I prefer when the monogreen ones aren’t too strong.

Reprinting D&D Cards

Is there any complication with reprinting the D&D cards? Like can you put Old Gnawbone into a Masters set as easily as Lightning Bolt, or is there some extra behind the scenes approval you need from the D&D department?

I don’t think we’ll put cards clearly representing D&D in anything but a D&D set.

Green's Interaction With Treasures

So what's the deal with Old Gnawbone? People are freaking out about how green isn't allowed to get treasure, because they're artifacts and it's a ritual not ramp

Green is allowed, and has, interacted positively with artifacts. Check Kaladesh as an example. Green is one of the best colors at getting other colors of mana, so getting treasure is clearly in green’s pie. It just doesn’t use it much because it has plenty of other ways to get other colors of mana. Treasure does not undermine green’s weakness in any way. Red does more one shot mana effects than green, but green has access to them.
