Why was fateseal not in Theros, I was really hoping to spin into myth a fabled hero :p

Because it’s a very unfun mechanic.

Theros Protection Cycle

You keep saying that the "Broken Protection From Color Cycle" in Theros was not intended to be a cycle, like how players often see cycles that weren't intended to be such, but Sam specifically mentioned in his development column that Fabled Hero and Agent of the Fates originally had the protection from black and protection from green, but were changed because small creatures with protection were oppressive while big creatures with protection were awesome.

Design didn’t make a cycle. Perhaps development did.

Flavor Text Origins

Who wrote the flavor text for Fabled Hero? Because it's awesome.

All questions about names and flavor text should be asked of Doug. Every once in a while the name will come from design but almost never the flavor text.

Heroic Mechanics

Why are so many of the Heroic cards "Heroic — Whenever you cast a spell that targets Fabled Hero, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature"?

Because getting bigger’s a pretty good effect. Note that there are many heroic creatures that do other things.
