As a (mostly) mono-Red Commander player I really don't mind not having access to Enchantment removal - I've learned to accept that I can't deal with Enchantments (outside of Chaos Warp, that is) and that I must go around them to win. However, would it be possible for Red to get more Enchantment interaction like Aura Barbs?


It’s something we’ve been messing around with. I don’t know when (or if) it will see print but we are experimenting.

Bringing up a slightly older topic, does red actually need to have answers to enchantments, or does it just need more ways to punish players for using them, such as Aura Barbs?


The latter is probably going to be what it gets.

Perhaps a solution to Red's inability to play with enchantments could be solved with more playing around in Aura Barbs space? I used that card to some pretty good effect when Theros dropped and it was auras everywhere


Red punishing mages that use auras is perfectly red.

Red Enchantment Removal

In the same vein as M14 Chandra's +0, could red get more *temporary* enchantment removal ala Zealous Conscripts? What about enchantment hate as an alternative to enchantment destruction? (eg, Aura Barbs or Blood Oath.)


Red is allowed to inflict pain on those having enchantments or otherwise do things to players with enchantments. That’s fully in color.
