Angelic Overseer

Hexproof in White

What's the status of hexproof in white? It does get the odd hexproof creature (Angelic Overseer) and is able to grant it to both creatures and players (Leyline of Sanctity, Shalai).

It’s tertiary in hexproof and the only color, I believe, to grant it to players.

White and Hexproof

Is white considered tertiary in hexproof? It obviously can grant hexproof to players, and it semi-recently got it on a creature (Angelic Overseer) as well. Plus, it has been described as the best color in protective magic.

White is tertiary. Usually it uses protection instead.

I'm surprised by Angelic Overseer. Is hexproof primary to green, secondary to blue and tertiary to white?

Yes, it is. White usually will use protection but when hexproof is necessary white is allowed to use it sporadically.
