Ali Baba

Retrofitting Character Legends

Are you planning to make Arabian Nights characters (Aladdin, Sindbad, Ali Baba, etc.) legendary? I think that this is not Nephilim case and they deserve it. They aren't legendary only because they wasn't that thing back then. It's absolutely obvious they should be legendary because they're concrete characters. You retrospectively give creature types to creatures that should bear them, you should make this change with creatures that are obvious legends.

The problem is it functionally changes them. You now can’t play multiple at the same time.

Creature Errata Revisit Chances

Hey there Mark, since you guys seemed to have changed your stance of late on creature errata (22 cards becoming nobles, 1 card become a warlock, 6 cards becoming sharks, 75 cards becoming dogs just since last year) what are the chances of you revisiting the errata of making Norin a Coward and making the creatures with proper names into legendary creatures (King Suleimon, Old Man of the Sea, Ali of Cairo, Frankenstein, Niall Silvain, Ali Baba, Abu Jafar, Aladdin)... It only seems fitting.

The former is a possibility. Making something legendary is adding a drawback and thus functional errata.

"When he reached the entrance of the cavern, he pronounced the words, ‘Open, Sesame'" The Arabian Nights, Junior Classics trans. - Flavor Text, Ali Baba (Arabian Night). Many others from that set. Earth still not linked to the multiverse?

Nope.

Arabian Nights Updates

Whats the chance of Arabian Nights creatures like Aladdin and Ali Baba getting their oracle text updated as legendary?

Very low as it would be functional errata.
