Rethinking Legends Mechanic

If you were starting the game today, would you have Legendary creatures work like Planeswalkers such that you couldn't have both Teysa, Orzhov Scion and Teysa, Envoy of Ghosts out at the same time?

If it was up to me, Legendary would be a marker with no inherent rules baggage.

Ashiok and Teysa Trivia

I'm gonna keep tryin! My birthday was two days ago so it was a tad bit late but I'd just like to know if you have any sweet birthday trivia on my favorite planeswalker Ashiok or my favorite commander Teysa, Orzhov Scion!

During design, Ashiok was just known as Dark Jace. Happy Belated Birthday!

Couple Bonds Over Cards

I started playing mtg around the first ravnica block (teysa, orzhov scion is still my favorite card), but then I kinda stopped after time spiral. Then, a couple years ago I started dating this really cool girl who was into magic and she got me back into the game. We're still dating and still playing lots of magic! Thanks for making mtg such an awesome thing for we to do together :)

Uniqueness Rules Disparity

Why are planeswalkers and legendary creatures treaty differently for uniqueness? I cannot control Jace, Memory Adept and Jace, Architect of Thought, but I can control Teysa, Orzhov Scion and Teysa, Envoy of Ghost even though in both cases one character is represented in different cards.

It’s a problem with how the game is set up. We would like them to work the same but the infrastructure to do so isn’t there (aka cards that are the same person don’t always make it clear that they are).
