So where are our Djiin Illuminatus/Cast Through Time/Maelstrom Nexus-like enchantments that give everything Overload/Cipher/Evolve/Scavenge/Extort? No love for the Johnnies?

They’re dangerous. Gatecrash, by the way, (and I say this as a Johnny) is chock full of stuff for Johnny.

Card Ability Grants

How come there aren't any cards that grant unleash, scavenge, or overload to your other cards (in the vein of Maelstrom Nexus and Triumph of the Hordes)?

Not every ability necessarily gets to be granted to everything. Also, the block isn’t over yet.
