Hangman Card Viability

Purely hypothetically speaking to the best of your knowledge: could Hangman be a black border card?

I assume you mean Eternal-legal. I don’t believe so. The mini game steps way outside the bounds of the rules. Play this game you know is fine in acorn. The tournament rules need more specificity.

Hangman Art Explanation

New 03 Apr 2023 Asked by monokarhu 58 Comments

Is it known what the word being guessed in Hangman's art is? I made the initially obvious assumption that it's just "hangman", but if that were the case, the other "a" should be on the board as well, right?

Here’s the story behind the art. The art originally had it as H_NG___. There was some worry that people might think we were hinting at something dirty, so the letters were changed, but the person who added the “A” forgot that both A’s needed to be added. So, it was supposed to be HANGMAN, but it currently can only be that if you assume the Hangman is bad at Hangman.

Public Guess Tracking

With Hangman, do I have to remind my opponents of their previous failed guesses, or is it their responsibility to keep track of what they tried?

Write down the spaces and fill in the letters as they are guessed. It should be public knowledge for everyone.
