Enter the Infinite Request

New 26 Aug 2023 Asked by nightfiremelody 21 Comments

Very specific, but could I request a reprint for Enter the Infinite? It's a very iconic and unique effect, but it's never been reprinted since it's first appearance in Gatecrash over a decade ago. I'd love to see it in the modern card frame, and maybe with some new (but equally trippy) artwork.

I’ll pass along the request.

Enter the Infinite Fact

Hey! Today is my birthday, I was wondering, if I could get a fact about my favourite card, Enter the Infinite. Thanks :)

I think Enter the Infinite started as “Draw your library.” Happy Birthday!

Omniscience Flavor Failure?

New 20 Jun 2018 Asked by neouch 47 Comments

Do you consider "Omniscience" a flavour failure? I've always been annoyed by the card because it means "to know everything". In my opinion, the card should have been called "omnipotence". "Omniscience" makes so much more sense on the card Enter the Infinite.

Omnipotence is black’s ideal not blue’s.

Article Image Concept

Hey Mark. Loved the photoshopped pictures of you in your article today, especially the Enter the Infinite one. Who's idea was it to do that?

Our graphics person came up with the idea. I got a sneak peek and gave them a big thumbs up.

Archangel's Light Rarity

New 11 Feb 2013 Asked by shh-no-tears-only-jojo-now 7 Comments

I know a lot of people have asked about Archangel's Light, and you've given us the story of the last minute change and the mechanic you hope to salvage. If it was clear that the "fixed" version of Archangel's Light was going to be bad, why was it not bumped down from "Mythic Rare" to "Rare" status? I love fatty mythics like Worldfire and Enter the Infinite, but it's frustrating to buy a pack, crack a mythic, and have it be rated 1.25 on the gatherer community because it's awful/situational.

Because there comes a point late in the process where we try to change as little as absolutely necessary. Every late change increases the opportunity for errors in the final product.

Risks with Enter Infinite

While I'm glad that you printed it, doesn't Enter the Infinite qualify as a "not safe at any cost" card?

The biggest risk Magic could take is never taking a risk.
