Slime Against Humanity Mechanics

Hey Mark!
Do you know how the new card Slime Against Humanity would work with facedown copies of the card in exile? (Say, if the owner was unaware of them.)
Thanks.

Cards can’t count the properties of face down cards in exile. Interestingly, it can care that it’s a card, so it will count it if the effect specifically cares about just cards in exile. In short, Slime Against Humanity won’t care about face down Oozes/other Slime Against Humanity cards

Common Ability Placement

New World Order Question. Under NWO rules, is the "About Face" mechanic (switching Power and Toughness) still at common, or was it moved up the ladder? We had Calcite Snapper, but it had Shroud which brilliantly polishes the card complexity-wise, so i don' t know if it counts. I ask this because if the About Face mechanic is still at common, it seems fitting to be the longed for link between blue and red common creatures.

We tend to avoid doing it at common as a default but we’ll make exceptions every once in a while. You’re correct that we added hexproof to make the swapping have less issues.

Face-Down Graveyard Cards

Okay, we have face-down permanents, face-down cards in exile, but what about face-down cards in the GRAVEYARD? :D

We’re pacing ourselves. :)
