Slime Molding

Missing Ooze Lord

New 06 Aug 2013 Asked by sirlrb 14 Comments

Let me just say how sad I am right now that there was no Ooze lord in RTR block. We were given a one drop in Experiment One, a two drop with Scavenging Ooze, a three drop in Predator Ooze, Slime molding to to fill holes in our curve, and good old Acidic Slime as a five drop. Standard is screaming for an Ooze Lord. WAY TO DROP THE BALL! :P

I’ve already said publicly that I made a mistake not putting an ooze lord in Gatecrash.

Token Clarification

I think you misread my previous question. Right now, cards like Slime Molding create X/X tokens. I'm suggesting it'd be easier to remember if it created a 0/0 token with X +1/+1 counters -- why isn't it done that way?

Yeah, I misread the last question. The reason for tokens is that many people use a marker to represent tokens so having to have a marker with other markers on it feels awkward.

Favorite RTR Design

Is your favorite design in RTR Slime Molding? It involves A) oozes, B) token creatures, and C) is an incredibly simple design but winds up being a very important card in Selesnya decks. It really only could have worked in this set. That's like 30 Maro points right there.

Slime Molding ranks very high on the Maro scale - 92 out of 100.  Uh oh, what did I just start?

Ooze Appreciation

Did you make Slime Molding? Thank y-ooze very much.

From one ooze lover to another, you’re welcome. I can be an ooze lover, right? That doesn’t get misquoted on the internet.
