I have to say, the Monty Python Secret Lair is amazing. High Fives to everyone involved, especially those who came up with Tim on Prodigal Sorcerer

Has a monty python secret lair been floated? I can imagen that it would be a pretty popular one

I can only talk about Universes Beyond properties we’ve announced. I can’t speculate over what we may have or may not have considered.

Additional UB Wishes

Hey Mark, people are sending in their UB wish lists - you’ve already done (or are doing) a few of my top ones, but I’ll add a couple:- Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy- Monty Python (I saw someone suggesting to do this as an Un-set and I love it)- Mass Effect- Eragon/Inheritance Cycle

Thanks.

Universe Beyond Un-cards

New 29 Feb 2024 Asked by jayarbuthnot 24 Comments

RE: Un-set & Universes Beyond. I feel that the last unset was a home run (for me). It had black border cards that are a lot of fun to play, and some wild cards that can go into a cube since they aren't black border legal. Sure there are cards that can't or won't fit into official formats. I feel like a Monty Python Un-set would be absolutely perfect. Hopefully you find a partner that can embrace the wild possibilities of an Un-set.

I’m all in for Universe Beyond Un-cards, but the partner would need to be in as well.

Hi! I hope you have a fun day. May I request a UN-inverse Beyond: Monty Python?

That would be fun. : )

Origin of Tim Ability

New 03 Aug 2021 Asked by quantumcat2002 62 Comments

I heard you call the prodigal sorcerer ability the "Tim" ability in your podcast. I'm old enough I remember playing with that card and calling it that but I'm curious if you know how it got that nick name. I always wondered. My best guess was a reference to the wizard in Monty python.

It is a reference to the wizard in Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
