Artifact Destruction Power

Are cards like Oblivion Stone, Boompile and Nevinyral's Disk breaks? Destroy all nonland permenants is a pretty White effect.

Artifacts get to do most effects, but usually not at as good a rate. Some early artifacts break that rule.

Artifacts Granting Abilities

How do you feel about cards like Spine of Ish Sah, Flame Javelin and Oblivion Stone giving colors access to effects they normally can't have, albeit at a high mana cost?

That’s something artifacts do. The trick is making sure they don’t do it too cheaply.

Oblivion Stone & Fate

Was design aware that Oblivion Stone uses Fate counters when they made Triad of Fates or was this interaction an accident?

Very metaphysical question: Is Design aware of fate? I’m going to go with yes.
