Card Name Changes in Graveyard

"This card's name is Dragon's Approach in the graveyard" - There actually are two cards like this already from the Odyssey block, Diligent Farmhand counts as a Muscle Burst and Pardic Firecat counts as a Flame Burst for the purposes of those effects. I"f [card name] is in a graveyard, [other card]'s effect counts it as an [other card]"

Odyssey Design Question: Do you remember what led to Flame Burst and Muscle Burst to have complimentary creatures that counted towards their X total while the other 3 cards in the Burst cycle didn't have corresponding creatures?

Experimentation.

Specific Card References

Will a card ever refer to another specific card (in black bordered world)?

We’ve done that a number of times. Muscle Burst from Odyssey is the one that jumps to mind.

Odyssey Kindle Cycle Query

In Odyssey's Kindle cycle, only Flame Burst and Muscle Burst had extra cards (Pardic Firecat and Diligent Farmhand) that boosted their effect. Why was this so?

We thought it would be fun to have a little of it but we didn’t want five cards doing it so we just kept it to red and green.
