Might Makes Right

Green vs Black Conflict

Could you please clarify an issue regarding the Green vs. Black conflict? Green is a believer in the natural order, which includes prey and predator. I understand why Green wouldn't want prey going out of its way to become predator (part of Black), but shouldn't it be okay with the notion of true predators taking advantage of the weak (another part of Black, i.e., Vampires, some Demons...)? Thanks!

People confuse “survival of the fittest” between Black and Green. Black’ Survival of the Fittest is the idea that the stronger person will get what they want. Might makes right. If you can take something away from someone else, it belongs to you.Green’s Survival of the Fittest is the Darwinian meaning. Things that can survive to mate pass along their genetic traits. Over time the traits that better allow survival will grow while those that don’t will die out - through natural selection.

Sith Philosophy Color

On the Sith being green, if you get into more of the extended universe stuff like the games and books, the Sith believe very firmly in survival of the fittest and fitting into a natural order, part of which is the "Rule if Two", which states that the Sith Lord must have an apprentice that will eventually kill their master and take on an apprentice of their own. In many ways, they're as green as the Jedi.

You are confusing Green’s Survival of the Fittest with Black’s. Green Survival of the Fittest is Darwinian. If a trait isn’t useful, evolution will weed it out. Black’s is “might makes right” - if I’m able to defeat you, we do what I want.

Colorful Expressions

"No guts no glory" and "practise makes perfect" are fairly clear and concise red and blue inspirational expressions, do you know any good ones for the rest?

“All for one and one for all” is a decent White one. Perhaps “Might makes right” for Black and “Appreciate what you have” for Green.
