Frodo Baggins

Secret Lair Pronouns

Why do the Dungeons and Dragons secret lair movie cards have pronouns and other legendary creatures use the word "it"? Themberchaud uses he but Frodo Baggins uses it.

Legendary creatures use it. The Dungeons & Dragon Secret Lair was a special exception.

Praise for Frodo Design

I know it came out last year, but could you high five the designer of the uncommon Frodo Baggins card? It's been by far my favorite Brawl commander since it came out and is a huge flavor homerun. It's very satisfying on many levels to beat a board of huge overbearing creatures with the little halfling.

Will do.

Cross-Experience Player Interaction

you have said that anyone who does not like particular cards can just opt out of playing with them, but isn't part lof the issue that we'll still be seeing these cards played by opponents? in edh I'm suddenly facing Optimus Prime, Negan, and Blanka, and in Modern I'm seeing Frodo Baggins coming at me.

Part of the Magic experience is interacting with other players that might be playing aspects of Magic you might not enjoy. That’s been true since Alpha.

Frodo's Color Pie

Hey mark, the card Frodo Baggins tempts the ring, it's certainly thematic but isn't this a colour pie break? the ring tempting you gives out skulk, looting and other effects which neither white nor green has access to.

It’s a bend, but not a break.
